Every student has that magical word in their vocabulary: tomorrow.
“I’ll start tomorrow.”
“I’ll make notes tomorrow.”
“I’ll revise tomorrow.”
And then tomorrow arrives… and suddenly there’s another tomorrow waiting. By the time you actually start, exams are staring at you like villains in a Bollywood movie.
Here’s how it goes:
• Week 1: “Relax, exams are far away. I have plenty of time.”
• Week 2: “I should at least collect notes.”
• Week 3: “Okay, maybe I’ll study the important topics.”
• One night before exam: “Dear God, please just let me pass. I’ll never procrastinate again.”
The funny thing? That promise lasts exactly 2 days after exams. Then the cycle resets. It’s not laziness—it’s a survival instinct. Why face pain today when you can delay it until absolutely necessary?
But deep down, you know this: one hour of focus daily saves you from ten hours of panic later. Will you actually follow that wisdom? Probably not. But hey, tomorrow’s always there.
